About us

We're a community of dreamers and do-ers who choose to work together while doing our own thing, right here in Kitsap County.

We believe that relationships
with real people matter.

We know how it feels to be lonely and isolated at work. We know that starting your own business or nonprofit is hard work. And we know that it's dang near impossible to take your business to the next level when new ideas and relationships fall stagnant.

WE BELIEVE THAT space matters.

We know what it's like to hold client meetings in the back of coffee shops. We've settled for less-than-perfect solutions in our hunt for conference rooms more times than we care to count. Shushing our kids, dogs and colleagues while on a conference call? Been there, done that. We're convinced there's a better way to do business--a better way to live life.

And We believe that the future of work is here.

A world where it's not only possible to work where we want, when we want, but that our personal and professional lives can be infinitely enriched and fulfilled because of it.

That's Why We Support a driven community of people like you Who are passionate about what they do.

We provide a vibrant professional environment where unexpected relationships take flight, inspiration runs deep and productivity is at its greatest.

We support a driven community of people like you who are passionate about their work by offering a modern workplace, meeting rooms, event space and a diverse selection of events and workshops that create opportunities for you to not only supercharge your personal and professional selves, but your career, business or nonprofit, too.

MEET ALANNA & MARCEL IMBACH

It was karaoke Wednesday at The Fairhaven in Bellingham. He was at the bar for some cheap booze and entertainment. She was at the bar to celebrate turning in her senior thesis at Western. Magic ensued. We laughed. We loved. We got married. We said we'd never work together.

We were wrong.

Today, we're the proud cofounders of Vibe Coworks. And as it turns out, this working together thing is actually kinda awesome. That's because we share a vision: a vision of a life where you can do the work you love while living in the place(s) you love. A life where working independently doesn't mean working lonely. And a life where you can be the master of your own worldwide destiny, from right here in Kitsap.

After 15 years living and working around the globe, from Bellingham to Madrid, Barcelona to Geneva, Luzern to New York City, we blame the move back to Poulsbo on our punk toddlers. For some weird reason, they wanted to leave the concrete jungle of NYC behind, in exchange for salty-sweet PNW beaches, fresh air, skiing, kayaking, grandparents, brewery hopping and endless stories from mom about what color she painted the NKHS rock when she was a kid. The gall. You'd think Kitsap were an awesome place to live or something.

ALANNA IMBACH had just finished off a pretty spectacular hot toddy at Paella Bar in December 2015 when it hit her: why were there no coworking spaces in Poulsbo? If Team Imbach was moving back to Kitsap, she was bringing her beloved nonprofit job at NYC-based WaterAid with her. That work from home thing? Been there. Done that. Not doing it again. She wanted a powerhouse professional community, an inspiring workspace and true work-life integration. Having spent over a decade doing media relations, communications and advocacy work for high-profile organizations including the International Catholic Migration Commission, the United Nations and WaterAid, she's a diehard believer in the power of bringing people together from all walks of life to tackle the world's biggest challenges. Her experience working from NYC coworking space, Grind, convinced her that coworking truly is the future of work.

MARCEL IMBACH never thought he'd live anywhere other than his hometown of Au, Switzerland. That was until he became a master carpenter and--much to his mother's dismay--went to work at Hertco Kitchens someplace up north called Ferndale. He had no idea where that was. And he hardly spoke English. But learn English he did, just in time to meet some super smart chic from Poulsbo, and spend the next 10+ years working with the world's top architects to deliver never-been-done-before interior and millwork solutions to clients around the globe. Marcel first drank the coworking KoolAid as a member at WeWork while working as a one-man office for Rothlisberger in NYC. Being a remote worker, he mostly missed those celebratory high-fives with someone... anyone... each time he scores those big business wins. Alanna thinks his mastery of ultra-modern furniture design is sexy. Lucky you, you can expect to see some of that mastery rub off on the Vibe surroundings, too.
